Thank you Iguana! Miles of Music Camp has received a grant from The Club Passim Iguana Fund to help start an Artist-in-Residence Program in 2012. The Iguana Fund is an amazing resource for New England artists. Covered: Hear Kristin's song "Send Me A Letter" on the new Joy Kills Sorrow album Darkness Sure Becomes This City. Also, The Sweetback Sisters recorded "Red Shoes Blues" and "They Say Virginia is for Lovers" (a co-write with Mary Lucey) on Chicken Ain't Chicken. Both albums were released this year on Signature Sounds. On TV: "The Sound Asleep" (from the new Sometymes Why album) was featured on ABC's Private Practice in December. You can still watch & listen here. Archives: Hear Kristin's set on NPR's A Prairie Home Companion. Her band Sometymes Why's recent Mountain Stage performance is also listenable on-line.
